Our Vision - ‘Building a community in the mountains and beyond, that draws people to the life-changing love of Jesus.’
We are on a journey to grow our missional ecosystem to be the biggest young adult outreach movement in skiing communities globally.
ACHIEVING ALTITUDE’S MISSION

We believe:
1. GOD: God reveals himself in the scriptures as the living and true God, creator of all things. Perfect in love and righteous in all his ways. This one God exists eternally as a Trinity of persons: The Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.
2. SCRIPTURE: The Scripture of both the Old and New Testaments being given by divine inspiration, are the Word of God, fully trustworthy in all matters of faith and conduct.
3. JESUS CHRIST: The only mediator between God and man is Jesus Christ our Lord, the second person of the Trinity, God’s eternal Son, conceived through the Virgin Mary, who, as man, fully shared and fulfilled our humanity in a life of perfect obedience. By his death on the cross, in our place, Jesus revealed divine love and upheld divine justice, removing our guilt and reconciling us to God. Having risen bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven, he rules as Lord over all and intercedes for us as our great High Priest until he returns to fulfill His Kingdom.
4. HOLY SPIRIT: The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness. At Altitude, we seek to be led by His Spirit, His Word and God-given wisdom. These three will be in agreement. Come Holy Spirit!
5. HUMANKIND: All people are made in God’s image. We believe in the dignity of all people.
6. CHURCH: We are called into relationship with Jesus, and active fellowship within His body, the church. The church is a joining of individuals under the headship of Christ, who are called to encourage and care for one another, to be light, to share the Gospel, and to serve as Jesus served.

Open house nights, catering for 180+ people each week Chalet Altitude offers free Burgers and Beers, providing opportunity to build relationships with seasonnaires and explore faith.
Refuge Beds - We provide beds for those that need rescuing in tough situations. From those that have lost their jobs and have to leave their accommodation instantly, to individuals living in intolerable circumstances, we get people back on their feet and help them move forward.

Church in Meribel’s alpine chapel every Sunday; a friendly welcome, lively worship, and a relevant gospel message.

Creating an accessible, relaxed environment for fellowship by hosting free Coffee and Croissants at a slope side restaurant followed by Team Ski, allowing us to deepen relationships throughout resort.

Ski Angels - You’ve all heard of street pastors, now put two sticks on their feet and onto the snow and that’s who we are. Working closely with La Folie Douce and the Rond Point bars this is one of our main missional outreaches.
Pastoral support - Our team and seasonal Altituders willingly offer their prayers and support over the season. The Seasonnaires recognise the loving nature of our team, our chalet and the safe space that it is.
